On the Ground

We are excited to explore downtown Minneapolis with you while engaging and amplifying local voices, businesses, and communities along the way.

We will be hosting our convening and associated events in various locations across the greater Minneapolis area.

Our main gathering will occur at Mill City Museum (704 South 2nd Street, Minneapolis, MN 55401). The museum is built into the ruins of what was once the world’s largest flour mill in the “Flour Milling Capital of the World,” with funding provided by the State of Minnesota through the Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment.

The convening is hosted in the historic Mill City district, a growing cultural, recreational, and residential neighborhood. Make a day out of downtown with some of the following attractions:

  • Minneapolis Riverfront Self-Guided Tour
  • Stone Arch BridSt. Anthony Falls Heritage Trail
  • St. Anthony Falls Visitor Center
  • Central Minneapolis Riverfront Regional Park
  • Mill Ruins Park
  • Water Works

Also, while we are there the Guthrie Theater on the Wurtele Thrust Stage will be presenting the musical, Little Shop of Horrors—Tuesday, June 25 @ 7:30 PM | Wednesday, June 26 @ 7:30 PM
