Regional Conversations Between Philanthropy and State Departments of Agriculture

June 11, 2020 @ 11:00 am 12:00 pm PDT

Sustainable Agriculture and Food System Funders (SAFSF) and the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) are pleased to co-host regional conversations for philanthropy and state departments of agriculture to share and learn from one another regarding the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on local and regional food systems in each of the four regions: northeastern, southern, western, and midwestern. Right now, we have calls set for the northeastern and southern regions and will confirm the western and midwestern regions in the coming days.

We hope SAFSF members and invited colleagues from local and regional food and ag funder networks will take advantage of this rare opportunity to learn directly from State Departments of Agriculture.

Join us for what we expect to be a lively and informative cross-sector discussion about local and regional food systems in the time of COVID-19. You are welcome to register and join one or more of the calls. We all have much to learn from one another. We know that through fostering greater collaboration we will be able to strengthen the state and regional connections and, we hope, build the capacity of the local and regional food systems. We look forward to the conversations.
